The feasibility study was clear 👍
1.) Residents polled all across Lake Oswego want Lake Grove to be rebuilt.
2.) Closing Lake Grove / sending LG kids permanently to Uplands is NOT supported (no matter what area of the city the question was asked).
3.) The data shows that closing Lake Grove was such an unpopular idea that it could put the entire school bond at risk.
4.) The study showed that Lake Grove is officially more walkable than Uplands.
5.) The study showed that Lake Grove kids would be the most adversely impacted school if bus rides get longer.
We urge the school board to listen to the data and continue to put students first.
At this Monday’s board meeting, each school board member will have to make clear where they stand on Lake Grove.
